Performing neuropsychological evaluations is the core skill of any neuropsychologist. The evaluation is designed to help understand the complex relationship between brain and behavior. Evaluations can measure aspects of brain functioning ranging from academic skills to your abilities after suffering a stroke or a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Neuropsychological evaluations can also address other concerns, including developmental delays in children (such as Autism spectrum disorders). Click here to learn more.
Forensic evaluations are a special type of service that can lend useful information to legal proceedings, workman’s compensation claims, or fitness-for-duty. We are happy to provide these services for a range of needs, and for defense or plaintiff’s counsel. Learn more at our forensics information page
Assessments for various conditions ranging from Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder to psychopathology that impairs daily functioning.
Academic difficulties can plague anyone for any number of reasons. One or more specific learning disabilities are often the cause. I have performed over 2,000 academic skills assessments for students of all ages, and can determine the nature and degree of any skills deficits and strengths. If a deficit is found, all educational institutions (and standardized testing administration agencies, like The College Board) have some degree of accommodations that help "level the playing field."
Individual therapy for various psychological conditions including depression, anxiety and phobias. Dr. Buddin has a limited number of spots available for ongoing therapy. Please call or email us for more information.
