W. Howard Buddin Jr., Ph.D.

I am a Clinical Neuropsychologist, and figuring out how your brain functions is my job.

I worked in a wide variety of healthcare settings over the past 15 years. During that time, I saw that each type of setting offered its own brand of rewarding patient and practitioner experiences. Over time, though, it was clear that a private practice was the only environment that would allow for highly personal, specialized neuropsychological and psychological evaluations. So, SC Neuro was born as an independent practice in late 2014.

Way before any of that happened, I earned my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University. After completing an internship at the South Florida Consortium, which included rotations at both an outpatient clinic and the Miami Children's Hospital – Dan Marino Center, I completed a formal, two–year neuropsychology fellowship at the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita.

My Curiculum Vitae is worth reviewing if you want to know more about my education, training, and research.
